Clodagh, our Creative Schools Creative Associate came to visit the First Class pupils this week as part of our Creative Schools journey and We Are Story Tellers. The children got a chance to experiment with some old-fashioned projectors. They explored story making through animation using natural materials they gathered from nature walks through the school grounds. The children learned how to observe how the shapes created an image, how the shapes changed and could be used to create a story, and they got the opportunity to listen to the music and how the music enhanced the story-telling.
