This week, we held Literacy Week in our school. The children took part in a variety of activities to promote reading and writing. Some of the highlights included the senior school visiting us for buddy reading sessions, a sensory trail based on We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, and designing book covers. Classes also enjoyed some outdoor learning by taking part in a literacy trail around the school grounds.
It was a very enjoyable week, with lots of opportunities to read and take part in different literacy activities. Please see some photos of our week below
