Exciting news in St. Mary’s Junior School!!
In November, our First & Second classes were very busy trying to answer 750 questions in their IXL Maths homework in a nationwide competition.
Thousands of students across the country entered the competition and this week we received the exciting news that a student from St. Mary’s Junior School was one of five winners selected across all of Ireland!
A huge congratulations to Winner who answered 1,397 Maths questions during the month of November.
Winner has received €100 as his prize and is very busy thinking about what Christmas presents he will buy for himself.
Winner’s class and staff at St. Mary’s are very proud of him and held a whole school assembly to congratulate him.
