April and May in Junior Infants
29th May 2026
Junior Infants have been very busy since coming back after the Easter break - here's a few photos of what we've been up to!
When we came back after the holidays, we got to plant our seeds after spending time in March learning about the life-cycle of the plant. The class really enjoyed watching the cress seeds grow each day.
As the theme for the month of April was transport, we learned all about different types of transport with a special focus on the airport! There were some incredibly designed rockets, boats, trains and planes made during playtime, and magnet-powered rafts during SESE.
In May we learned all about water, including the animals in the ocean and how the rain in Ireland gets from the sky to the ground! We've started making beach art as well which is perfect timing, as our next (and final!) theme is going to be "Summer Holidays"! June will also be a busy month with Active Week, Wellbeing Week, Sports Day and of course, the end of the school year!
Have a lovely long weekend, see you in June!
