Tree Planting in Collinstown Park

30th Mar 2023

First and second classes had a wonderful morning planting trees in Collinstown Park. Thank you to Niall, the park ranger, who met us and helped us plant the trees at the entrance of the park. We look forward to visiting our trees in the future and observing their growth. Make sure to keep an eye out for our trees when you are visiting the park!

Junior and senior infants were also busy planting trees this week. All classes planted trees on our school grounds and will be making sure they get watered frequently to help our trees grow.

All of the tree saplings planted were sent from Self Help Africa as part of their One Million Trees campaign. They will be planting 10 trees in Africa on behalf of our school. We are looking forward to looking up the location of these trees on Google Earth.
